We experienced a few restaurants during our short stay on Koh Tao and I have to recommend a couple of places that we really enjoyed for both food and drinks:

1. Su Chilli – great for a cheap Thai meal, incredibly quick service and so is good for if the meal needs to be quick to fit around other plans.

2. The gallery – at the time this place was number one on Tripadvisor and we had to book a table after visiting the previous evening and finding it was fully booked! Great Thai food served here and the owner also has an art gallery next door full of the most beautiful paintings of Koh Tao and the surrounding areas.

We also stopped at the fizz beach lounge for a drink at sunset, cool spot with bean bags. We had a great time playing with the camera here at sunset! This is located on Sairee beach (just look out for the cool palm tree that bends at a right angle!)
