Well our time on Koh Phangan didn’t go quite as we’d expected… after a terrible journey across from Koh Tao following a morning full of seasickness, we were pleased to reach the safe haven of Sabai beach. We spent the first day chilling and started to think maybe we had picked up some food poisoning
This place is definitely a complete tourist/traveller trap but the views are really magnificent! We went with “Samui island tour” and paid around £30pp for the Kayaking, sightseeing and snorkelling package. We had picked up a leaflet in Bophut and rang the number to organise but could’ve possibly negotiated the price if we had decided
I was very excited for my first trip to Asia and my first holiday with Rob! Although we were originally looking to go to Bali, the prices of flights to Thailand couldn’t be beaten and the prospect of exploring Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao definitely provided a great second choice!
