Well our time on Koh Phangan didn’t go quite as we’d expected… after a terrible journey across from Koh Tao following a morning full of seasickness, we were pleased to reach the safe haven of Sabai beach.

We spent the first day chilling and started to think maybe we had picked up some food poisoning as we were still feeling terrible. The second day took us as far as the beach outside our bungalow, and as we started to feel a bit better we did think about hiring a moped and heading up to Ao Mae Haad to go snorkelling. However we decided not to risk it! So we had a lovely relaxing time on the island but unfortunately didn’t get to see much of what it has to offer.
