It is now commonly known that a “good deal” may not be as good as it first seems when it comes to booking a hotel room in Las Vegas. This is due to those annoying resort fees that you have to pay at the end of your stay in Vegas (that often aren’t quoted at the point of booking).

However… this year we got our resort fees waived and a cheeky room upgrade at the Venetian with this simple trick/gamble (well we were in Vegas!)

Now no promises that this will definitely work, there are varying levels of success reported but a cheeky note between ID and bank card can help persuade the check-in staff to help you out. How much you are will to put at stake may limit the reward of course…
